Courtney

Courtney has a lifelong artistic flair and a passion for Japanese culture. She combined the two in creating this award-winning ceramic sculpture. The design itself incorporates cranes, in a style that might be seen on a traditional Kimono.

Courtney's work also won an award at a scholastic art show held at the Gables senior community in Brighton. She plans to continue her study of both ceramics and Japanese culture at Bennington College.
